The Bartondale Shiraz is a deep crimson-red wine that captures the essence of a powerful yet elegant Shiraz.
Aromas & Palate: Fragrant notes of red cherry, plum, and subtle spice greet the nose, leading to a rich and complex palate. Layers of dark red fruits are beautifully balanced by fine, silky tannins, creating both depth and intensity. Hints of spice carry through to a long, savory finish that lingers with sophistication.
Vintage Notes: The 2020 vintage delivered warm, dry conditions, allowing the grapes to achieve exceptional ripeness while preserving concentrated, vibrant Flavors.
Winemaking: Following fermentation, the wine was pressed into new French oak barrels for malolactic fermentation and matured for 18 months. Each barrel was meticulously assessed, with only the highest-rated selections chosen to craft The Bartondale Shiraz, ensuring premium quality and exceptional character.
