Wine Description
This Primitivo from the Barossa, South Australia, displays a ruby red colour with violet hues. The nose is fragrant with black cherry, nougat, and warm spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves, lifted by a hint of red currant. On the palate, fresh black cherries and dried cranberries provide a juicy base, while cinnamon, mace, and cardamom emerge mid-palate, finishing with a vibrant line of tart morello cherry. Full-flavoured yet youthful and fresh, this wine pairs beautifully with robust barbeque meats such as steak, lamb, or Chevapchichi sausages, as well as grilled portobello mushrooms, strong cheddar, or blue cheese.
