The Bartondale Cabernet Sauvignon is a deep red wine that embodies the elegance and power of a classic Margaret River Cabernet.
Aromas & Palate: Ripe black fruits and delicate notes of fine oak rise from the glass, leading to a rich, layered palate. Flavours of black forest fruits are beautifully balanced by refined tannins and lively acidity, giving the wine depth, structure, and finesse. The result is a wine of concentrated power with a long, juicy, and savory finish.
Vintage Notes: The 2020 vintage brought warm, dry conditions, allowing the grapes to achieve perfect ripeness and develop intensely concentrated flavours while maintaining balance and freshness.
Winemaking: After fermentation, the wine was carefully pressed into new French oak barrels for malolactic fermentation and matured for 18 months. Throughout this period, each barrel was meticulously assessed, with only the top-rated selections chosen to craft The Bartondale Cabernet Sauvignon, ensuring exceptional quality and character.
