Wine Description
Taylor Ferguson Premium Selection wines are made using only the best quality grapes from selected vineyards.
Dark crimson with purple hues and very opaque, the nose shows green vine leaves, tea, cedar wood, with earthy tones and hints of ripe berries. The palate is fresh and luscious with ripe blackcurrant and hints of sour cherry. Tannins and fruit are well balanced, with a subtle hint of oak on the after palate. Long finish.
Recently Cabernet Sauvignon has fallen out of favour for the more dominant Shiraz grapes, this makes it ripe for the picking and quality wine such as this that used to command top dollar can be had for a very reasonable price.
